What changed on this guide
This is a revision record, not a news page. Nothing here is an event in the world: it is a list of what we checked, what we corrected and what we decided not to publish. Freight rates, storage limits and customs policy all move, so anything numeric on this site carries the date we verified it.
If you find something out of date, or something that reads as wrong, write to [email protected]. Corrections get made and land on this page.
Revision record
Newest first. Each entry names what was checked rather than only what was written.
| Date | Change | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Guide published | First version of this guide, written from the OrientDig help centre and its own ten step tutorial. Every figure quoted carries the date it was checked. | |
| Help centre article links verified one by one | The operator's help centre uses in page routing, so its article addresses do not appear as ordinary links. We opened each one in a browser and recorded the address it resolved to, rather than guessing addresses from titles. | |
| Five help centre titles left out on purpose | Storage period of goods, sending limitation, the prohibited export list, laws and regulations, and the tariff threshold reference are listed inside the help centre but did not resolve to a readable page when we tested them. We have not linked them and have not paraphrased them from their titles. | |
| Storage figure sourced from the operator screenshot | The remaining storage countdown quoted on the timing page comes from the operator's own tutorial screenshot of the warehouse page. We describe what the screenshot shows and point readers at their own account for the current number. | |
| Combining example labelled as an example | The first weight, step price and handling fee used in the calculator are the values from the operator's combining article. They are prefilled so the tool is usable immediately, and every one of them can be replaced with your own quote. |
Next scheduled review: within 90 days of the dates above, or sooner if a reader reports a change.
How we decide whether something can be published
Three tests, applied to every fact on this site. Can it be traced to a page the operator publishes, or to a screen the operator itself captured? Does it still say that today? And is it the kind of thing that moves, in which case it gets a date and a pointer to your own account rather than a flat statement.
Anything that fails all three does not go on the page. That is why there are no delivery estimates here, no current price list for the packing add-ons, and no comparison table of agent fees.
